Meet The Team
Mark and Jennifer Miller moved to Powhatan, Virginia in 2024. As they settled into their new community, they quickly got involved and noticed a gap in local wellness services. Rather than traveling to Midlothian or Short Pump for care, they wanted to bring high-quality wellness options closer to home. That vision led to the creation of Revive Laser and Wellness MD.
Mark Miller
Mark grew up in Northern Virginia and joined the U.S. Army at 18, serving proudly for 24 years before retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer. After his military career, he transitioned into the private sector and now works as a Solutions Architect for a major defense contractor, supporting the U.S. government, military, and allied partners. Health and wellness have always been a big part of his life—he’s a former Level 1 Certified CrossFit Coach and is passionate about both physical and mental well-being. Outside of work, Mark enjoys sports, collecting bourbon, spending time outdoors, and being with his family.
Jennifer Miller
Jennifer grew up in a military family and experienced life in many places, but Powhatan is where she truly feels at home. A Radford University graduate, she has built a meaningful career in Regenerative and Integrative Medicine, with a strong passion for patient-centered wellness. Over the past five years, she has focused on advanced education and certification in skin anatomy and laser technology, helping people feel confident and empowered in their own skin. Jennifer finds joy in life’s everyday moments—she loves reading, cooking, and hosting family and friends in her home.
Together, Mark and Jennifer have two grown sons and share their home with their two beloved dogs, Colt and Hank. Their combined dedication to wellness, community, and connection is at the heart of Revive Laser and Wellness MD, where they’re excited to help others look and feel their best—right here in Powhatan.
Dr. Steven Mares
Dr. Steven Mares is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and the Owner and Medical Director of Erase the Canvas, LLC, a tattoo removal and anti-aging clinic based in Williamsburg, Virginia. For over 13 years, he has led the practice with a focus on precision, safety, and patient-centered care.
A graduate of Virginia Tech and Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Mares also serves his community as both a Pediatrician and Pediatric Hospitalist. Beyond his medical work, he actively supports local youth—providing care for school athletes and contributing to the Lafayette High School theater department’s spring musical through set design and construction.
Neren Carlton
Patient Liaison
Neren Carlton brings over four years of experience in Integrated and Functional Medicine to her role as Patient Liaison at Revive Laser and Wellness MD. A Charlottesville native, she is passionate about advocating for patients and helping individuals feel confident and empowered in their wellness journey.
Outside of work, Neren enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her pets, as well as dancing, karaoke, and dressing up in fun costumes.
